There are weeks at DataDrill when the work feels technical. Data pipelines. Cloud migrations. Reporting that used to eat afternoons.
And there are weeks when the work feels human. This was one of those weeks.
This spring our team joined YouthSpeak Novi Sad, the youth forum organized by AIESEC Novi Sad. We went with two intentions.
At the booth
The first was to represent DataDrill at the booth and talk with students about what careers in life sciences engineering actually look like. Real questions, honest answers, no recruiter polish. We listened more than we talked.
A contribution to Dečije selo
The second was to make a charitable contribution to Dečije selo, the Children's Village in Sremska Kamenica that has cared for children without parental care.
Why this matters
Novi Sad is where DataDrill was born. Most of our team grew up within a short drive of this room, and Dečije selo is part of that same map.
Showing up for the city's future workforce, and for its children, on the same day, is the most local thing a company based here can do.
How to help
If you live near Novi Sad and you want to help, reach out to Dečije selo directly. The list is rarely complicated. The need is always real.
To the AIESEC Novi Sad team, thank you for putting this together.
